Which car for which journey

Most London journeys come down to three cars. The Mercedes-Benz S-Class is the everyday executive car: four passengers, a quiet cabin and rear seats that make it easy to work or rest on the move. The Mercedes-Benz V-Class takes up to six people with their luggage, so it is the usual choice for families, airport runs with several cases and small teams travelling together. The Range Rover suits clients who prefer to sit higher, and journeys out of London to country houses, estates and race meetings.

For occasions, our Rolls-Royce cars are arranged on request. The Phantom is the grand choice for weddings and black tie. The Cullinan sits higher and suits country venues and longer drives. The Ghost is the understated Rolls-Royce for business dinners and City meetings. All three are from £175 an hour; our Rolls-Royce hire page compares them side by side.

For groups of up to eight, the Executive Sprinter keeps everyone together with room for luggage, from £120 an hour with a four-hour minimum. If you are travelling with more than two large suitcases, tell us when you book and we will suggest the V-Class or a second car.

Prices are fixed and confirmed before you travel. Heathrow transfers start at £190 in the V-Class, £195 in the S-Class and £295 in the Range Rover. By the hour, the V-Class is £85, the S-Class £90 and the Range Rover £125, with a three-hour minimum. All prices exclude VAT. Yes. You choose the model when you book. Vehicles are the stated model or a similar class, and we confirm the details before your journey.

Which car is best for Heathrow with a lot of luggage?

The Mercedes-Benz V-Class. It seats up to six and has the most luggage space of our cars, from £190 to or from Heathrow, excluding VAT.

Are child seats available?

Yes, on request in every car. Tell us the ages of the children when you book so the right seats are fitted before pickup.

Do your prices include VAT?

No. All prices are shown excluding VAT. Hourly rates include the London congestion charge.

Can I book a Rolls-Royce for a wedding?
